Dubai: The Mall of the Emirates has broadcast live on Monday morning the unveiling of its Evolution 2015 redevelopment project.
The 36,000-square-metre extension features 40 retail, dining and entertainment options, including 20 fashion brands ,12 restaurants and a new 24-screen Vox Cinemas.
The entertainment facility is said to be the largest in the Middle East, equipped with the latest technology, including IMAX with laser screen. It also features a Vox 4DX auditorium and two Vox Kids cinemas.
Some of the brands that will be featured in the new extension are new to the Middle East, such as British fashion house All Saints, apparel brand lululemon athletica, Seafolly and Omnia Baharat.
The Dh1 billion Evolution 2015 is a multi-phased project, with the first phase having been completed in 2014.
The mall had earlier set up a live streaming at 11:25am UAE time, Monday.
