Image of Dubai's Palm islands captured from space

Dubai: Photobombs are hard to avoid, even in space.

European Space Agency astronaut Tim Peake was excited to take a photo of Dubai from a space station on Sunday when a spacecraft came into view.

The British national has been taking photos from his vantage point aboard the International Space Station after he was sent to the orbital outpost in December 2015.

One of his latest quests was to photograph Dubai’s Palm islands. Just when he thought he had found a good angle and was about to take the shot, SpaceX’s Dragon capsule appeared.

“I’ve been waiting to get a pic of The Palms, Dubai and then this happened just prior to capture,” Peake said in his tweet.
