Former Flynas boss hired to lead Oman's first budget airline

Oman's first budget airline Salam Air has announced the appointment of François Bouteiller as its CEO after previously heading Flynas, the Saudi low-cost carrier.
An industry veteran with over 30 years of experience, Bouteiller will lead the airline's launch which is due to take off by the end of this year.
The airline aims to cater to the sultanate’s traffic demand which is expected to grow by 40 percent by 2019, a statement said.
