Athenian woman opens her home to refugee family

A Greek woman called Ariadne has become a social media star by opening up her house to a refugee family living in squalid conditions in Victoria Square in central Athens.
Coming across a family with young hungry children, she invited it back home.

“This was the least I could do…to make them feel warm and at home even for a few hours”, she said.
Ariadne published photos of the family, with the smiling children.

As she said, the purpose of the publication was not to brag and accept "congratulations", but to motivate other people to do the same.
