A Saudi woman weighing nearly 300kg is appealing for the Gulf Kingdom leaders to help her, saying she has fallen ill and could no longer lie down because of her obesity.
The 51-year-old woman, identified as TS, told ‘Sabq’ newspaper that she has started to put on weight since she was 10-years old and that she can no longer go to the bathroom or lie down to sleep.
She said she has been divorced and that she has a divorced daughter and a 13-year-old son, adding that all of them live on social security.
“I can no longer move around. I appeal for Crown Prince Mohammed bin Nayef bin Abdul Aziz and other officials and benevolent people to help me. I need to be treated after some hospital refused to treat me because of my heavy weight,” she said.
